Brug 39 like it’s predecessor #brug38 is unnamed.
This like many of the central canal ring bridges is a connected bridge with the quay walls of the bridge seamlessly merging into those of #bridge38 and #bridge40 over the Keizersgracht and across the Reguliersgracht.
The bridge itself is not very different from many of the other bridges with no fundamental outstanding features. Still, it is part of a group of seven bridges spanning the Reguliersgracht which are possibly some of the most photographed bridges in Amsterdam.
